Food Service Attendant, Mount Carmel Hospital-Colville, WA

Under the general supervision of the food service manager, cafeteria / diet aide will perform as a health team member committed to customer service and the nutritional care of patients. When working in the cafeteria the employee is expected to perform a variety of duties for food set-up, delivery, serving, and cashiering.  As diet aide, duties include providing meals to patients according to their diet order, food preference, and menu choices. Cafeteria / Diet aide acts as the liaison between food and nutrition services, the patient or customer, and hospital staff to provide quality food and service.  Always demonstrates behavior practices that reflect the philosophy and mission of our sponsors, Providence Health and Services, our founders, the Dominican Sisters, and Providence Mount Carmel Hospital's Standards of Conduct.

Shift Details:

• Part time, 0.8 FTE, 32 hours per week, Variable Shift

Required Qualifications:

• Upon hire: National Food Handler Card - State County City Authority

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous hospital or food service experience.

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
