What You Will Do: As a Research Intern within our Networking and Cyber Technologies group, you will contribute strong software development skills and innovative research to critical areas such as network infrastructure security, network understanding, and the security and resilience of large-scale dynamic systems. The work is consistently challenging and varies from project to project, with projects generally being short-term (6 to 24 months), involving small teams that require close interaction with customers and team members.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Developing software and systems across a variety of architectures and operating systems.

Analyzing systems to understand how they work and what happens when they break, and developing algorithms to make them more secure and resilient.

Qualifications You Must Have:

Education: In process of earning of Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics 

Programming Skills: Strong skills in C and/or C++ programming, 

Debugging: Ability to debug complex, large-scale systems and network issues.

Qualifications We Prefer:

Programming Skills: Familiarity with Java, Rust, Python, Bash

The salary range for this role is 62,000 USD - 118,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
