Albion College invites applications for The Assistant Vice President of Marketing Strategy. This position is responsible for developing, leading, and executing marketing and content strategies across Albion College’s digital and print platforms. Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing and Communications, this position collaborates with various departments, including enrollment and advancement, to ensure cohesive and effective marketing campaigns to create maximum impact with target audiences. The AVP plays a crucial part in advancing Albion’s brand messaging, enhancing student recruitment efforts, and supporting donor engagement through compelling, cohesive storytelling. Responsibilities include developing multifaceted marketing plans encompassing digital marketing, social media, email campaigns, and CRM strategies. The Assistant Vice President of Marketing Strategy will also collaborate with key academic and administrative units across campus to develop annual marketing plans that align with the brand and institutional priorities, and achieve strategic marketing objectives. Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize, and organize a diversified workload with sensitivity and confidentiality. Must contribute to a campus climate that emphasizes a commitment to working with individuals and groups from a variety of identities, cultures and backgrounds.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Business, or related fields. Master’s degree preferred.
• 7-10 years of experience in enrollment and advancement marketing and content strategy within higher education.
• Proven leadership experience managing content teams and strategic marketing projects.
• Demonstrated ability to align marketing campaign strategies with institutional goals and to measure content performance.
• Significant experience with project management.
