Data Engineer - Product Data Solutions (Remote)

Copeland's Data Engineering team is expanding! If you are an experienced Data Engineer with 5+ years of experience and a passion for building data solutions, we have an exciting opportunity for you!
As a Data Engineer you will...
- Collaborate with internal teams to expand our data warehouse with clean data ready for analysis
- Partner with data scientists to develop and implement technical architectures for strategic solutions
- Test and implement new data sets to enable customer facing data products
- Analyze and optimize data processing workflows
- Assist in the evaluation and implementation of emerging tools/technology for Data Engineering
- Design and build reusable components to support data team development, establishing best engineering practices
Required Education, Experience & Skills:
- 5 years working as a data engineer
- Strong SQL Experience and database experience
- Strong Python experience as it relates to data pipelines
- Experience with ETL tools and cloud platforms
- Experience designing, creating and maintaining data processing systems
- Experience supporting and creating customer facing data solutions
- Business travel to Kennesaw, GA occasionally

Preferred, Experience & Skills:
- Experience with Snowflake
- Exposure to streaming data solutions
- Experience with containerization
- Basic familiarity with BI tools
- Interest in creating data visualization to provide insights to customers

Flexible Work Schedule - Remote Work Option and Core Hours
This role has the flexibility of remote work and a core hour schedule. You can choose to flex your start and stop times given you are working during the core hours of 9:00am - 3:00pm (based on team headquarters time zone). Our teams work together to ensure our chosen work schedules enable our creativity and productivity as we serve the needs of our customers. This role also has a travel requirement of up to 1 week per quarter, predetermined by leadership in advance.

Our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay a competitive base salary, within the local market in which we operate, and reward performance during the annual merit review process. In accordance with Colorado EPEWA, the base salary range for this role is $113,985 - $160,000 annually, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities, and experience each candidate brings to a role.
