As a General Manager, you will have the opportunity to manage the overall operation within a high-product mix, low-volume aerospace business. Your contributions will have a direct impact on the business by providing leadership through operational excellence. The team you will be working with are seasoned professionals who truly care about the work they are doing and value a people-focused leader who can help take their business to the next level.
So, what will you be doing as a General Manager?
- Develop and execute plans to improve and maintain stability of financial performance
- Monitor key performance indicators for quality, on-time delivery, productivity, and cost management
- Oversee Sales order administration & Operations Planning activities
- Optimize production scheduling to meet customer delivery requirements while maintaining efficient resource utilization and limiting arrears
- Implement suitable cost performance indicators and demonstrate achievement of operational efficiency improvements
- Ensure strict adherence to AS9100 quality management system requirements.
- Drive a zero-defect culture through the implementation of robust quality control processes.
- Achieve satisfactory reporting, including projection submission, variance explanations, and monthly business reviews
- Oversee regulatory compliance and provide suitable interaction with government and regulatory bodies
- Complete appropriate capital expenditure requests and justify recommended investments accordingly
- Hire, train, develop, and provide leadership and mentoring to the branch management team, putting in place suitable succession planning activities where needed
- Drive conformance to company policies and achieve satisfactory audit performance
- Drive a safety culture to ensure a safe working environment for all employees

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Aerospace, or related field.
- 7-10 years' progressive manufacturing management experience; minimum five ye
