Responsibilities
Workato is looking for a Senior HR Business Partner to join our growing team. The Senior HR Business Partner is a part of the HR team providing leadership and guidance to client areas while influencing and delivering on HR objectives aligned to business priorities. This position plays a key role in helping to create a compelling employee value proposition and enhance employee engagement. The successful candidate will be solution-oriented and adaptable with the ability to provide leadership and guidance to the assigned client areas. The Senior HR Business Partner must be highly credible, approachable and experienced at providing advice and counsel to both managers and employees. You will be expected to be a trusted advisor to management and an employee advocate with experience and judgment to balance the needs of stakeholders.
In this role, you will also be responsible to:

Coach, advise, partner and provide HR leadership and guidance to client areas to both influence and deliver on HR objectives aligned to business priorities

Contribute to creating solutions for best practice initiatives in such areas as employment, employee communication, career development, employee relations, compensation, benefits, and employee recognition

Understand business priorities within client groups and leverage that information in HR planning and prioritization efforts

Become a trusted advisor to business leaders on organization and people matters

Engage collaboratively within client groups as an employee advocate to ensure that issues and obstacles are identified and addressed

Partner with business unit managers in the annual review, preparation and administration of the organization’s wage and salary program

Provide guidance and input on organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, and succession planning

Collaborates on and promotes change management and drives local initiatives

Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
