Premier Early Childhood Education Partners is a private early childhood education organization seeking a Maintenance Technician!
This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on, solution-oriented professional who is passionate about creating safe, well-maintained, and welcoming environments for children and staff.To be QUALIFIED for this position, we require:
  • A high school diploma or GED
  • 3+ years of maintenance experience in a commercial or residential setting
  • A valid driver’s license
  • The ability to pass all background checks
  • Candidates must have their own set of tools, including but not limited to: drill, impact driver, various sizes of screwdrivers, hammer, electric meter, voltage detector, and wrenches

Our Hiring Process:
  • Resume screen
  • Phone screen with Recruiter (30 minutes)
  • Virtual interview with Facilities Manager and Vice President of Real Estate (45 minutes)
  • Virtual interview with Regional Director (45 minutes)

Main Job Responsibilities:
  • Perform maintenance, preventative maintenance, general repairs, and facility improvements to interior and exterior spaces
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot facility issues, completing repairs or coordinating with vendors as needed
  • Ensure all work areas are safe, clean, and secure, especially in child-accessible spaces
  • Utilize Service Channel to receive, track, and complete work orders
  • Maintain a positive and professional relationship with center staff and vendors
  • Travel between sites to perform repairs, including minor plumbing, HVAC filter changes, painting, irrigation work, carpentry, electrical work, and more
  • Support the cleaning, prepping, and closing of swimming pools (if applicable)
  • Responsibly handle chemicals and follow safety protocols
  • Provide suggestions for improvements in operational or energy efficiency
