Registered Nurse (RN) Operating Room-part time nights

Inova Alexandria Hospital is seeking an experienced part time (20 hours/week) Operating Room Registered Nurse. This is an overnight position; qualified candidates must be willing to work Thursday 7p-7:30a and one other night 11p-7:30a. Will be covering Charge RN for this shift.

Inova Alexandria Hospital is a beautiful Community Hospital located in the city of Alexandria. Our OR is equipped with 11 OR suites and 4 Endoscopy Suites. Comprehensive range of surgical specialties to include, orthopedics-total joints, sports medicine, spine, general ENT, gynecology, urology, plastics, vascular, neurosurgery, robotics, podiatry, and maxillofacial. Full range of Endoscopy services including Heartburn Treatment.

Job Requirements:

• One-year direct Operating Room nursing experience is required.
• Education: BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an Associate’s Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.
• RN License to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
• BLS for Healthcare Provider certification issued by the AHA is required
