Job Description

The Warehouse Technician II is a dedicated and reliable individual delegated to personally handling material inventories, goods-in activities, and relevant operations in the Petaluma and Novato facilities, to include assigned projects of addressing and further developing the growing needs of LGC Biosearch’s supply chain management and organization therein as outlined by ISO 9001 and 13485 GMP standards.

What you’ll do

  • Support to all Inventory and warehouse-related tasks, addressing demands in both Petaluma and Novato sites.
  • Work within a Goods Manufacturing Practices (GMP) environment when applicable, supporting guidelines to uphold GMP and ISO 13485 standards, as required.
  • Provide support to Petaluma-based Receiving (Goods-In) and other Warehouse Inventory staff, working also in tandem with the Novato site Receiving staff.
  • Address areas of opportunity involving purchased and manufactured goods, as well as support solution designs pertaining to the Receiving & Inventory processes and process flows bringing in said goods for use by various internal customers.
  • Support stockroom inventory and ordering requests, adhering to Lean and FIFO inventory management practices.
  • Support Quality Control and Assurance in the release of inbound materials
  • Manage the safe, clean, and efficient operation of the warehouse and production floor inventory shelving areas to meet 5S and OSHA standards.
  • Ensures that relevant equipment is utilized and maintained in the most efficient manner.
  • Stocking inventory to their assigned locations using manual and barcode scanning methods.
  • Heavy use of ERP, MES, and desktop work.

Qualifications

  • Familiarity with inventory management
  • High School degree or equivalent
  • Regular use of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word
  • Use of a web browser.
  • ERP system familiarity; FMP and/or IFS a plus

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Able to lift 40lbs.
  • Kanban familiarity
  • HAZWOPER certification a plus
  • Forklift familiarity recommended, certification a plus
  • Warehouse environment experience a plus

The typical pay range for this role is:

Minimum: $ 26.975 /Hourly

Maximum: $ 33.718 /Hourly

This range represents the low and high end of the anticipated salary range for the California -based position.  The actual base salary will depend on several factors such as: experience, skills, and location.
