Real Estate Development Project Manager

Schell Brothers' sister company, Ocean Atlantic (www.oacompanies.com) is seeking a Project Manager (PM) for Real Estate Development. This position will provide project support to Ocean Atlantic’s real estate development team.  The PM will support projects related to the design, engineering, construction, and maintenance of existing and future real estate development projects.  

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Effectively work with our development team to design and deliver quality projects on time and within budget constraints 
• Bidding, contractor selection, and contractor oversight for all land development activities, including roadways, sewer, water, drainage, landscaping, and amenities
• Work closely with utility providers to design, construct, and relocate infrastructure
• Perform site inspections to identify the status and progress of various projects
• Willingness to bring energetic solutions to complex problems   
• Work closely with our team analyst to understand and update project performance results
• Provide evaluation of contractor performance related to project plans and scopes of work  
• Responsible for establishing and maintaining project reporting to facilitate historical analyses and field construction performance

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage schedules
• Experience managing contractors 
• Ability to plan, organize, manage, and supervise project activities.   
• Understanding the use of financial budgeting tools and their functionality
• Developed written and oral communication skills 
• Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office applications) 
• Self-motivated and results-oriented 
• Demonstrated ability to exceed quality and productivity standards 

Optional Skills/Assets:

• Three years of real estate development or equivalent experience
• Understanding of real estate development concepts 
• Ability to interpret construction drawings
