WHAT ARE WE EXPECTING FROM YOU?

Reporting to the Managing Director – VCA France & Monaco, the Retail Director is in charge of supervising and developing the retail teams and their activities as well as their performances in line with the Maison strategy and standards of excellence. In this function you will lead on 4 pillars :

 

Retail Strategy

•Key contributor to the Yearly Plan, business reviews and Strategic 3Y plan for the market •Is responsible to define BU/LE and sales targets together with the MD •Define together with MD key elements of P&L and monitoring of boutiques operating budget •Identify new business opportunities while being  aware of competition projects and market •Define, implement and monitor clear strategy to support the European clientele development as a top priority •Implement all the projects defined by the International Retail Department and define new ones upon specific market needs  

Business development (IB, Online Retail)

•Follow up monthly/yearly KPIs, provide qualitative analysis of results and define necessary action plans to upgrade KPI •Responsible for accurate bi-monthly sales forecasts and last estimate for each boutique •Ensure good relationship with Landlords while scouting for the best opportunities •Ensure excellent environment for each boutique, incl. VM. •Act proactively towards the resolution of stores performance issues to maximize sales results  

Client Development & Experience

•Define, implement and monitor a Client Development strategy to lever market opportunities •Leverage local opportunities related to HQ initiatives & to L’Ecole to provide a differentiating client experience and recruit / convert prospects •Lead High End sales development, working in close collaboration with the market High Jewelry Director •Ensure client service and client experience excellence

 

Team Development & Training

•Provide leadership to Boutique Managers: transmit clear objectives, in-store presence and coaching in collaboration with the training team •Design the optimum organization for retail office and boutiques •Recruit, organize and plan HR needs (planning, staff allocation and hiring) •Define and roll out training programs adapted to each community, in coordination with the local & regional Retail trainer •Follow commission/variable calculation and budget for all retail boutique staff in line with MD
