Licensed Vocational Nurse

Goleta Valley Cottage Hospital seeks a Licensed Vocational Nurse for their GVCH Wound Care Center responsible for rendering nursing care pursuant to the goals, objectives, and policies of CH. Performs nursing interventions for the comfort and healing of patients. Supports a collaborative environment in promotion of health and wellness. Major accountabilities include:

• Patient Care: Collects data and performs nursing care interventions based on LVN Scope of Care. Provides input to the RN in the formulation of the plan of care. Identifies and prioritizes care based on the patient's individual needs.

QUALIFICATIONS:

All job qualifications listed indicate the minimum level necessary to perform this job proficiently. 

Certifications, Licenses, Registrations:

• Minimum: Current California LVN license. American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS).

Years of Related Work Experience:

• Minimum: Previous clinical experience in an acute care, clinic, LTC, or skilled nursing setting.
