Job Description:

   

We are seeking a Senior Presales Enterprise Architect who will be responsible for providing technical support and/or leadership in the creation and delivery of technology solutions for Federal Government customers’ business needs. Creates and maintains effective customer relationships to secure customer satisfaction. Provides the deepest level of product- and technology-specific expertise available to customers from anyone in the sales organization in deal pursuit situations. Aligned to specific products or product-lines. This is a US based teleworking position, with 50% travel. 

In a typical day as a Senior Presales Enterprise Architect, you would:

  • Translates outcome-based solutions into a functional solution design that aligns to the customers’ business needs and then translates that functional design into a technical design and architecture that can be scaled to accommodate growth.
  • Configure hardware clusters for workloads using your knowledge of hardware, software and storage
  • Applies advanced knowledge of company hardware products and infrastructure solutions as well as customers' business and technical environment to translate the functional view into a technical view and architect complex solutions that can be scaled to accommodate growth.
  • Participates in deep-dive discussions and is able to articulate the value proposition, define key differentiators, and draft high level solution designs by mapping HPE technologies to customers' technical and business challenges.
  • Demonstrates this knowledge by effectively countering competitive point-product claims with the benefits of HPE's broad suite of total solutions, open platform approach, and technical innovations.
  • Monitors the account pipeline and nurtures active deals from opportunity to close. In addition, builds the pipeline by identifying missed or new opportunities within the account
  • Builds on existing customer relationships by designing end-to-end architecture for solutions aligned to the customer's business needs, within the specified scope and budget.
  • Mentors presales peers, account managers, and other partners on account, solution, and technological knowledge through best practice sharing.
  • Tracks industry developments for specific domains by attending conferences and industry events and monitoring social media.  Additionally, may contribute to industry developments utilizing those same methods.

Education and Experience:

  • First-level university technical degree or equivalent technical qualifications. Advanced degree in technology preferred.
  • 8–12 years of technical experience in IT with a focus on technical consulting and solution selling
  • Knowledge-based as well as 1+ experienced-based relevant industry certifications very strongly preferred.
  • Enterprise architecture frameworks and project management methodologies and certifications are helpful but not required.
  • US citizenship required.
  • Federal procurement experience required.
  • Federal Healthcare knowledge preferred.
  • Flexible location within United States of America.
