Manager Clinical Engineering
Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of the hospital medical equipment service. Participates and directs preventative maintenance, equipment repair programs and special projects and strategic planning for the medical equipment.
Makes sure to understand every safety practice expected by the organization. Takes no shortcuts that increase the risks of accidents, personal injuries, or equipment failures. Looks for unsafe practices in the workplace and takes responsibility to ensure that others are aware of the potential impact.

Please note the following important details regarding this role:
- This is an onsite role that will report into the hospital daily, as scheduled
- Work Status Available:
- Full Time, Day
- Shifts Schedule:
- Monday to Friday: 8AM-5PM
- Flexibility to work on-call as needed to maintain operational continuity, provide leadership during critical situations, and support team members outside of standard business hours
- Flexible and available to work weekends and holidays as scheduled, based on departmental needs and operational requirements
Relocation Details:
- Providence is open to considering applicants from areas outlier to Richland, Washington
- Please note a selected applicant who resides outside of the area, WILL BE required to relocate to the Richland, Washington region
- Providence is willing to provide a relocation package for relocation to the Richland, Washington region
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree Or applicable military training -OR- Associate's Degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology or Electronics Technology -OR- a combination of equivalent education and experience
- 6 or more years of experience working as a biomedical technician -or- biomedical military training
- Three or more years of experience working in a leadership role such as a Team Lead, Supervisor or Manager
