We are currently seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team in Gettysburg, PA.

What you can expect at your practice:

• Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant responsible for performing initial evaluation and ongoing management of patients with various urological conditions including BPH, erectile dysfunction, incontinence, kidney stones, UTIs, and more
• Responsible for hospital consults in Gettysburg and outpatient care with flexibility to work varying 1.00 FTE daytime only schedule Monday-Friday (No after hours call, or weekend call) 
• Support and collaborate alongside a team of eight Providers between Chambersburg Hospital and Gettysburg Hospital 
• Assist Urologists in surgical procedures, including prep and post-op care of patients
• Educate patients on urologic health, treatment options, and discharge instructions during 20-60 minute appointments

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

• Masters Degree Nurse Practitioner Required or
• Bachelors Degree Physician Assistant Required
• Masters Degree Physician Assistant Preferred

Work Experience:

• 1 year Required

Licenses:

• Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner Upon Hire Required or
• Licensed Physician Assistant Upon Hire Required and
• Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required or
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support Upon Hire Required

Courses and Training:

• BLS and/or ACLS as appropriate for the clinical role. Upon Hire Required and
• Nurse Practitioner - board certified by American Nurses Credentialing Center Commission on Certification Upon Hire Required and
• Nurse Practitioner - Completion of an accredited program for nurse practitioners Upon Hire Required or
• Physician Assistant - Graduate of accredited physician assistant program Upon Hire Required
