Job Description Qualifications:

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is currently seeking an Associate Production Operations - Electrical Specialist (Level 2) to join the Emergent Operations Wire Shop Team in North Charleston, South Carolina on 2nd Shift!

Emergent Operations is seeking an Electrical Specialist (Level 2) that is willing to teach, learn and maintain the commitment to safety and quality that is EOSC.

Position Responsibilities:

• Performs machine set-up.

• Assembles and installs wire harnesses and avionics products.

• Performs complex wire harness repairs and re-work.

• Executes Supplier wire bundle modifications and bundle changes.

• Performs tests on wire harnesses to verify correct build and serviceability.

• Removes and replace circular, rectangular, in-line and quick disconnect connectors.

• Installs and re-works pressure feed through fittings.

• Works on complex components and systems using established drawings and requirements.

• Must maintain all necessary certifications to perform the job.

• Exhibits Boeing Behaviors.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at North Charleston, SC.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Must be able to work second shift.

• 1+ year of experience in Aerospace, Fabrication or Manufacturing.

• 1+ years of experience in electrical assembly and/or electronic materials.

• 1+ years of experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings or blueprints.

• Ability to obtain/maintain confined space certification.

• Ability to obtain/maintain fall protection certification.

• Must be able to work at heights of 50 feet or above.

• Must be able to bend, kneel, crawl on a daily basis for extended periods of time.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• 3+ years of experience in electrical systems trouble shooting and fault repair.

• 3+ years of 787 Program experience.

• 3+ years of experience in a team environment.

• Must be able to use hand tools on a repetitive basis.

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically 3 or more years' related work experience with Heavy structures rework and or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+1years related work experience ,7 years' related work experience, etc.).
