About the role

Successful applicants for this position must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as a condition of employment. Vaccine verification will be required.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Maintain personnel records ensuring compliance of all personnel documentation.

Manage onboarding for new employees including new hire orientation.

Coordinate compliance of various state and federal requirements including I-9 authorizations.

Solicit new/ current employees for diploma/ certification information. 

Assist in providing support to employees by responding to questions and escalating issues as necessary.

Assist with employee communications, including compensation and severance letters.

Make employee changes related to compensation, department, manager, shifts etc. in HRIS and coordinate with payroll.

Respond to requests for employment verifications and unemployment claims. Assist in maintaining HRIS data, with high degree of accuracy and timeliness, and additionally run and distribute reports from HRIS as needed. 

Manage the employee offboarding process. Update and/or create job codes in HRIS.

Filing and administrative tasks.

Identify potential Employee Relations issues and escalate accordingly 

Review and respond to various requests in the ticketing software. 

Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in HR or related area highly preferred.

Minimum of 3-4  years of relevant HR experience.

Proof of COVID vaccine required.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

Demonstrate ability to follow set policies and procedures. Adhere to regulatory guidelines in daily work.

Ability to independently research topics.

Ability to manage files and records.

Ability to follow directions and work effectively as part of a team.

Demonstrate respect for employees and confidential material.

Demonstrate thoughtful and appropriate oral and written communication in daily interactions.

Knowledge of basic computer applications and various database and software programs.

Knowledge of compensation principles and practices and salary schedules. Possess basic knowledge of Natera's mission, strategic aims, and programs.

The pay range is listed and actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location. This may differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations.San Carlos, CA $29.05—$43.59 USD
