The Team
Initially working as part of a regional team, this role collaborates closely with a dedicated group of managers, school leaders, internal cross-portfolio colleagues, Executive Leads and Learning Services. You’ll ensure consistent, compliant, and efficient operational practices while working collaboratively to oversee resources, school processes, driving performance across the groupings of schools.
About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager of School Grouping Operations to oversee and coordinate operational activities across a designated grouping of schools. This pivotal role ensures alignment and implementation of key operational practices and processes within policy and regulatory frameworks. The successful candidate will be accountable for operational, financial, and compliance outcomes, and will lead the effective management of resources to support school performance and efficiency.
Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with school teams to drive consistent operational practices.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant policies and regulations.
- Managing resources efficiently to achieve strategic objectives.
- Overseeing financial and operational performance within the portfolio.
This role is ideal for a results-driven leader with strong operational management experience in educational or complex organizational environments.

- Fixed-term - ASAP for a three year period
- Full-time - 73.5 hours per fortnight

We are looking for
Essential
- Current Tasmanian Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (RWVP) with a registration Status – Employment
Desirable
- A current driver’s licence.
- Membership of a relevant professional organisation and/or relevant academic qualifications.
