Senior Software Engineer (AdTech Supply Chain)

<h3>Company Description</h3><p>We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join a newly formed team led by a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in AdTech Supply Chain. The rolewill involve web crawling, data extraction, and automation. </p><p>About the role: </p><ul><li>Work closely with the SME and a small team (3 engineers) to develop and maintain Python-based crawlers </li><li>Analyze and improve existing crawlers while building new ones </li><li>Contribute to the team's expertise in AdTech Supply Chain </li><li>Collaborate with multiple teams through cross-team communication </li></ul><p><strong>CUSTOMER </strong></p><p>Our Customer specializes in cybersecurity, with a primary focus on protecting the internet from malvertising. They provide bot protection and security solutions to AdTech companies. This includes the onboarding and integration process for entities such as SSPs, DSPs, agencies, and publishers, as well as providing customized reporting consoles and APIs to connect their data to clients' systems. </p><p><strong>PROJECT</strong></p><p>The project focuses on improving identity management and security for products within the AdTech industry. The main objective is to create innovative solutions to improve user identification and data protection, including researching existing identifiers, identifying vulnerabilities, and developing methods to address them. </p><h3>Job Description</h3><ul><li>Lead and manage the entire supply chain process within the company, acting as a subject matter expert for all related AdTech operations  </li><li>Ensure compliance with AdTech regulations, similar to GDPR, identifying where policies are followed and where potential violations may occur  </li><li>Conduct thorough analysis of the company's processes to assess compliance with these regulations across all Customers, identifying both global and specific issues  </li><li>Develop and implement solutions to address any gaps in compliance, understanding that violations could lead to legal action and fines  </li><li>Present findings and action plans to executive leadership (VPs), obtaining approval and alignment for compliance initiatives  </li><li>Drive the approved plans by collaborating with internal teams, ensuring proper implementation of the solutions  </li><li>Provide coaching and consultation to teams, helping them understand and correctly apply compliance measures within their projects.  </li><li>Prepare and deliver presentations to business stakeholders, effectively communicating compliance risks, solutions, and strategies to ensure understanding and approval from leadership  </li><li>Become a knowledge keeper and subject-matter expert in the company's supply chain process </li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>At least 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer  </li><li>Strong Python experience  </li><li>Extensive experience in the AdTech industry and Supply Chain  </li><li>Strong understanding of computer science principles  </li><li>Fluent English  </li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><p>Would be a plus:  </p><ul><li>Previous experience working in a product company  </li><li>Experience with Snowflake, JavaScript, and Go  </li><li>Experience with Selenium package and Scrapy  </li><li>Crawling experience </li></ul>
