Job Summary

 

This position exists to further develop, cultivate and manage the needs of existing business relationships in local acute and outpatient facilities for the Greater Area of Houston, Texas. The Manager Customer Experience works meticulously with all assigned accounts to ensure a high degree of customer satisfaction with all Memorial Hermann Linen Services and ensure that the customer maintains proper linen management, linen usage, and inventory control. The following essential duties and responsibilities demand a high-level of personal accountability, as the Manager Customer Experience expected to exercise independent judgment and discretion to get the highest customer results and to set his/her own day-to-day schedule to accomplish those results.

 

Key Responsibilities:  

• Works closely with all assigned customers to ensure a high degree of customer satisfaction with all Memorial Hermann Laundry Services and ensure that the customer maintains proper linen management, linen usage, and inventory control.
• Communicate information to customers about issues relating to linen orders, linen outages, product or service issues, and service issues related to drivers.
• Support our reusable surgical linen program through communication, education, training, proper ordering and stocking. Monitor surgical linen pack orders on the unit, and work with units on consistent and accurate ordering.
• Visit all customers at specified intervals (weekly, every other week, monthly, etc.)
• Assure customer satisfaction with all aspects of Memorial Hermann Laundry service.  This includes if applicable general linen rental, sterile surgical packs, linen management services, etc.
• Seek out opportunities within current customers by adding or increasing value added services.
• Perform any and all additional duties as assigned

 

Preferred Qualifications:  

• Associate degree and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
• Previous experience in a hospital or healthcare related organization preferred.  
• Good working knowledge of how hospitals are set up and function.  
• Good communication skills-both oral and written.  
• Professional, outgoing, assertive, team player, leadership/supervisory skills, problem solving skills, basic math/financial abilities.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts using concenpts of basic algebra and geometry. 
• Ability to work independently, with personal accountability, to deliver results.
