POSITION TITLE: Inventory Control Associate I, II 

 

HOURLY PAY RANGE: $20.00/hr - $26.00/hr.  

 

SHIFT HOURS: Days 9:30am to 6:00pm 

 

LOCATION: Onsite at LSI Solutions in Victor, NY 


 
JOB SUMMARY: The Inventory Control Associate is responsible for the accurate inventory transactions to and from suppliers and customers, for both internal and external suppliers and customers. This position will work with the Materials Department supporting manufacturing and ensuring all production material is stored and moved safely to meet production requirements. The position tier will be determined by the individual’s level of proficiency and the scope of responsibilities, as determined by management.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: *Levels are determined by the skills and requirements needed for a particular area and/or the number of functional areas that an employee has been trained and deemed competent in, along with having responsibilities in those areas. 

 

Materials Handler: Position begins at level I

  • Deliver material to production as required and ensure Lot Traceability. 
  • Ensure Point of Use Storage (POUS) locations are always properly stocked.
  • Ensure accuracy of WMS inventory transactions.
  • Work with desktop computers and hand-held computers (scanners) to process ALL inventory transactions.
  • Put Quality Assurance accepted parts into component part inventory.
  • Process receiving of production items, answering the dock–door, and processing and distributing material as required.
  • Load and unload delivery trucks.
  • Load and unload pallets to and from racks.
  • Support all Materials Handler Creekside tasks as required.
  • Assist Quality with movement of product for Sterilization.
  • Assist Quality with movement of product in and out of QC Cage.
  • Ensure pallet inventory is maintained.
  • Support moving sub-assembly WIP WO’s to next work center as required.
  • Willing to work overtime, especially on our Sterilization days(Monday and Thursdays).

 

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Operate the box truck and fork truck to transport materials across campus as needed.
  • All other duties as assigned.

 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1+ years’ experience in a highly regulated industry with materials handling, receiving, storing, kitting, restocking of raw materials and subassemblies, and/or maintenance of lot traceability records preferred.
  • Cleanroom experience a plus.
  • Pallet wrapping and banding experience.
  • Valid Drivers license

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Extremely detail oriented.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and consistently demonstrate compliance.
