Machine Wirer

Coilcraft, Inc. is a privately held, global manufacturing organization with headquarters located in Cary, Illinois. Coilcraft operates in various industries; including telecommunications, computers, automotive, broadband communications, and consumer electronics. We are seeking a Machine Wirer to join our Machine Build department.

Job Responsibilities:

• Mount electrical components and wiring of automated machinery
• Modify, drill, assemble, and wire control boxes
• Solder PC boards and cable assemblies including high-density connectors
• Update and assist with machine documentation including BOMs and electrical drawings
• Build electrical test fixtures.
• And other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• 1+ years of wiring and soldering experience
• Basic Windows PC Skills
• Ability to read a tape measure
• Ability to use wire crimping tools and hand tools all-day
• Good math skills
• Ability to read blueprints and possibly create blueprints with guidance from technicians
• CAD experience a plus
• Attention to detail and good organizational skills are a must
