Senior Field Service Engineer (GE)

Symmetrio is currently seeking experienced Senior Field Service Engineers for a national diagnostic imaging service provider across the United States. The ideal candidate should have at least five years of experience servicing GE CT/MRI systems and possess an associate's degree or relevant industry experience.
This is a dynamic on-site position that requires up to 40% travel, and the candidate should be able to work independently while maintaining the highest level of quality and professionalism. With a challenging and ever-changing work environment, the role demands a skilled and adaptable individual who can navigate unexpected challenges with ease.

We understand that extensive travel and being on the road constantly may not be suitable for everyone. Our client recognizes the value of work-life balance and have designed this role to require much less travel than what is typically expected in the industry.
Responsibilities
- Perform inspections, investigations, calibrations, and repairs of CT/MR systems from various manufacturers, including but not limited to GE, Siemens, and Toshiba.
- Conduct preventative maintenance to comply with current OEM specifications to meet equipment safety and mandatory performance levels.
- Utilize remote diagnostics, laptop-based test protocols, power tools, and measuring devices to diagnose and troubleshoot issues with equipment.
- Consult with medical or research staff to ensure equipment functions properly and safely.
- Demonstrate and explain correct operation of equipment to medical personnel.
- Communicate effectively with all levels within a healthcare setting and provide high-level customer satisfaction.
- Work independently or in a group, take direction from others, and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and/or relevant industry experience.
- At least five years of experience servicing GE CT/MR systems.
- Strong technical skills and knowledge of manufacturers' service documentation, troubleshooting techniques, and preventative maintenance procedures.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a positive attitude.
- Organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently or in a group and take direction from others.
- Valid driver's license.
- Be willing to work weeknights and weekends to a reasonable extent.
