Job Summary

The Bar & Beverage Supervisor oversees all bar setup, beverage service preparation, and bar team operations for events. This role ensures all BEO requirements are met, inventory is organized and stocked, and guests receive exceptional beverage service.

 

Key Responsibilities

Bar & Beverage Setup
• Lead setup of all bar stations according to BEOs.
• Ensure liquor, mixers, tools, and glassware are fully stocked and organized.

Beverage Pantry Management
• Maintain organized inventory of beverages, supplies, and glassware.
• Track stock levels and request replenishment as needed.

BEO Coordination
• Review BEOs to confirm all beverage details and quantities.
• Coordinate with catering to ensure accurate preparation and service.

Team Leadership
• Supervise, train, and support bar staff to ensure consistent, high-quality service.
• Enforce company procedures, safety standards, and efficient workflows.

Customer Service
• Serve as point of contact for beverage-related requests during events.
• Ensure guests receive excellent service and quick issue resolution.

Quality & Presentation
• Oversee cleanliness and visual presentation of all bar areas.
• Conduct final checks before service begins.

Compliance & Safety
• Ensure adherence to liquor laws and company safety protocols.
• Monitor responsible alcohol service and crowd control.

Post-Event Breakdown
• Lead cleanup and breakdown of bar stations.
• Ensure equipment is cleaned, stored, and inventory updated.

Qualifications

Experience
• 3+ years in hospitality or beverage service, including 1 year in a supervisory role.

Skills
• Strong leadership, organization, and multitasking abilities.
• Solid knowledge of bar setup, alcohol service, and beverage inventory.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail.

Physical Requirements
• Ability to lift 30 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Comfortable working indoors/outdoors and in varied environments.
