As a member of Card Data Products Center of Excellence (CDP CoE), you will be part of a cross-functional team defining & delivering one of the biggest data initiatives at Capital One on Card Data Products. You will work to deliver high priority, high visibility efforts in meeting Card Data Products EWI through a combination of execution-focused and extensive coordination with a broad set of stakeholders. On any given day, you will drive the successful delivery of the Card Data Products EWI through seamless stakeholder coordination, standardized communication and reporting, and oversight of risk and change management. You will connect with leaders across our product, tech, and enterprise strategy teams to bring together a holistic view of dependencies and cross-functional requirements. Your role will be critical to the collective success of the teams and the initiative.

What you'll do:

  • Roadmap Development - Collaborating with CoE program and intent leads in prioritizing reqs, resources & establishing milestones and ensuring critical milestone delivery within EWI timeline.

  • Communication & Reporting - Establishing and running program ceremonies for tracking progress, risks & dependencies & spotlighting wins to stakeholders. Coordinating & facilitating recurring meetings and aggregate program-level reporting.

  • Risk Management - Identifying & mitigating risk to program delivery and tracking & monitoring all risk & remediation plans.

  • Scope & Change Management - Managing EWI change control artifacts and change process for Card Data Products delivery. 

  • Resource Planning - Collaborating with CoE program and intent leads in defining roles & responsibilities to ensure accountability as well as identifying workstream leads & delivery teams.

  • Enterprise Coordination - Sync up with Enterprise on inputs & timelines required with EWI program milestones. Update & review with Enterprise for monthly progress, risks & dependencies from Card side.

  • Demonstrate outstanding communication and partnership skills that are essential for interacting and communicating with key stakeholders across all levels

  • Demonstrate organizational agility to adapt to changing demands

  • Display strong problem solving and influencing skills

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Military experience

  • At least 5 years of Project Management experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree

  • 7+ years of Project Management experience

  • 1+ years of People Management experience

  • 2+ years of Confluence, Jira, or Tableau experience

  • PMP, Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

McLean, VA: $146,100 - $166,700 for Manager, Project Management


 

New York, NY: $159,400 - $181,900 for Manager, Project Management
