Other Conditions: Casual Hire temporary appointment is expected to begin August 2026, or soon thereafter. Not to exceed one year.
Duties:
- Assists the Head Coach and Baseball Program with:
3. Responsible for field maintenance and field improvement.
4. Responsible for completing and submitting all required compliance forms and timely submission of CARA and recruit logs.
5. Know and abide by the rules, regulations and policies of the University of Hawaii, the Athletics Department, the Pacific West Conference, and the NCAA.
6.Perform other duties/functions as assigned.
- Possession of a baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university in any field; or any equivalent combination of education and/or coaching experience which provides the required education, knowledge, skills and abilities as indicated.
- Two (2) years of experience in Coaching Baseball at the collegiate level.
- Proficient in Google Docs, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to travel in-state and out-of-state.
- Prior NCAA DII coaching experience.
- Played at the collegiate level (DI, DII, DIII, NAIA) or Professional Baseball, any level.
- Understands Baseball analytics.
- Knowledge of Driveline, Rapsodo, Trackman, Diamond Kinetics, etc.
- Knowledge and experience using 6-4-3 Chart Analysis or similar.
- Knowledge and experience charting games.
