Job Overview
The Senior, Talent Manager leads and develops colleagues who administer the hiring and onboarding process for both professional and hourly roles across a regional structure, specifically in our Supply Chain distribution centers. They also support succession planning practices and talent development programs that drive career growth. The position utilizes Human Resources and Talent Acquisition experience, data, and relevant organizational resources to ensure a positive applicant experience, enhanced engagement, and community involvement across multiple facilities in the assigned region.
What You Will Do
- Manage and lead a team of talent acquisition colleagues across multiple locations to execute the hiring and onboarding process.
- Offer guidance to People Leaders throughout the hiring and onboarding stages, ensuring a smooth experience for both internal and external hires.
- Collaborate with facility leadership teams, HR Business Partners (HRBPs), Talent Centers of Excellence (COEs), and Operations Planners to develop hiring plans, identify critical roles, assess talent needs, and address risks and gaps.
- Provide leadership and guidance in candidate sourcing and managing applicant flow.
- Analyze recruitment metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of recruitment strategies. Monitor progress against metrics and milestones, updating leaders and offering recommendations as needed.
- Stay informed about industry trends affecting hiring and staffing through data analysis.
- Provide branding input to attract candidates to the Supply Chain organization.
- Assist in implementing talent development strategies and actively participate in talent review meetings.
- Review compliance training reports, survey results, turnover rates, and diversity metrics to support retention objectives and key priorities.
- Support the implementation of change management initiatives and cultivate positive working relationships with leadership teams to foster a collaborative culture and engage colleagues.
- Ensure consistent communication with leaders and HRBPs, keeping them informed of relevant updates.
- Fulfill other duties and special projects as assigned.
