RUN Studios and their client partner are seeking a driven Technical Producer to join their growing team!
The Technical Producer will be at the front line of communication and client relations. This person must have a solid understanding of broadcast and streaming services. The ideal candidate will be able to organize many shows at once, have great attention to detail and be able to walk stakeholders through what they need to be successful in their broadcast.
As a Technical Producer, You Will:
- Triage, schedule and book live events with captioning, transmission, tape op and streaming components.
- Set up of basic streaming packages based on requested parameters, including the tech producers recommendations on facility/workflow knowledge.
- Supply core communications with Technical Operators and Supervisors.
- Support event change management efforts.
- Manage overall email/client communications to meet pre-defined Service Level Agreement (SLA) response times.
- Document and track live event data, billing, and daily operations.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the Webcasting, Transmission, Captioning and business lines.
- Understand general production and its broadcast components, and how the facility flows through the Broadcast Center.
- Create show related documentation [show flow, routing, individual production overview books, etc] for event success.
- Complete other tasks as assigned [maintain templates, versioning of documents, etc]
As an Applicant, You Bring:
- 2-4 years of technical experience in the production industry [on-site AV a plus]
- 2+ years in all aspects of video production management.
- Proficiency in digital media fundamentals (frame rates, bandwidth, progressive vs. interlaced, aspect ratios, frame size, resolution).
- Adeptness in broadcast transmission environments, equipment, and infrastructure.
- Strong technical knowledge in terms of formats and deliverables.
- Excellent collaboration with team members to build solutions from the ground up.
- Creative solutions, and can come to the table with ideas in discussions with EP’s, clients, and team members.
- Focus on client success, and provide excellent customer service at all times.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent project management skills, with proven experience managing media technology projects.
- Confidence in controlling Client, Scope, Schedule, Budget and Creative processes.
- Ability to focus on, and organize, multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
- Excellent understanding in the PC platform.
- Work onsite proficiency.

- Supervisory Responsibilities
- No direct reports, but will supervise productions on a project basis

- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Work Environment
- Primary expectation is for in-office presence working alongside other producers/coordinators on the team
- Travel
- None currently, however there may be some future travel in the local area to events
