Sr Billing Administrator
PRIMARY FUNCTION:
This position is expected to perform all job duties with a commitment to providing superior service to clients, producing quality work products and maintaining an atmosphere of teamwork and continuous improvement.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Billing Process Expert – Will learn and master all product lines of billing: Maintenance, Construction, Modernization, Fixed Price, & Time, and Material billing.
- Displays a thorough knowledge of service, extras, and repair documentation, including billing, insurance certificates, contracts, lien wavers, etc
- Reads and understand contract language and uses this knowledge with customer billing as contracts will dictate payment terms and conditions
- Promote and support business process solutions of the Business Support Center “BSC” operations including, but not limited to Billing, Accounts Receivable Collections, Cash Application, and Master Data Integrity areas utilizing SAP functionality and various business solutions.
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of department Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and related training materials.
- Support the development and implementation of process and system improvements and efficiencies
- Work closely with billing team and field organization to identify improvement areas and implement procedures according to findings.
- Subject matter expert for Enterprise Service Management Software (ESM). Deliver training of ESM for all billing staff as well as initiate and implement process improvements.
- Assist and Deliver classroom and personalized system and process training
- Supports Billing team to achieve and maintain process compliance
- Meets or exceeds financial targets
- Communicates interdepartmentally to achieve financial results
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Some travel may be required
EDUCATION LEVEL:
- Minumum Associates Degree
- Bachelors in Business Management or realed field prefrerred.
EXPERIENCE:
- Customer Service.
- Billing, Collections, Accounting.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- ERP systems and SAP is preferred.
- Good analytical, time management, and organizational skills are necessary to efficiently perform daily functions.
- The successful candidate must have a strong “client service” mindset and the ability to use collaborative and non-adversarial approaches in achieving diverse goals.
- An ability to see the billing operation as a financially oriented customer service function which balances cost control with support for the business.
- Self-motivation, strong follow up, and closure skills are required to achieve the results in a timely and efficient manner.
