Technical Leader Advanced Systems Engineering
GE VernovaAbout the role
Job Description Summary
As a Technical Leader in Advanced Systems Engineering, you sit at the intersection of long-range technology strategy and day-to-day engineering execution. You will oversee the full range of Advanced Systems activities — including GE Vernova's Multigeneration Technology Plan (MGTP), the New Technology Introduction (NTI) portfolio, and next-generation turbine conceptual design — working closely alongside the Advanced Systems leader to ensure all streams are coordinated, current, and moving forward.Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
Own the NTI and continuous improvement (CIP) processes — develop best practices, drive their adoption across the portfolio, and ensure consistent, high-quality execution from initiation through transition.
Coordinate major technology initiatives end-to-end: track on-time and on-budget delivery, manage key performance indicators (KPIs), and drive validation and verification activities including system-level testing.
Support portfolio management alongside the Advanced Systems leader — contributing to engineering excellence program management, program operations, and milestone reviews.
Serve as the primary interface between the Advanced Systems team and subsystem engineering teams — facilitating collaboration, supporting critical-to-quality (CTQ) and risk trade studies, and guiding NTI transition planning.
Contribute to the MGTP — help maintain high-quality technology roadmaps, coordinate regular updates, and provide relevant input to the annual Long-Term Strategy (LTS) process.
Support conceptual design activities, external project coordination, and technical assessments across parallel Advanced Systems workstreams.
