About the Role
The Audio Visual (A/V) team at iCapital works collaboratively with internal stakeholders, peer technology groups, and third-party vendors to support the company’s rapidly growing corporate A/V footprint, which includes physical locations in the US, Canada, Portugal, Switzerland, London, Singapore, Japan, and Hong Kong.
The A/V Services Lead will report to the Global Head of A/V and is responsible for the project management of A/V builds, deployment, troubleshooting, break and fix, and assignment of live events. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex A/V projects from concept through execution, including collaboration with stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Perform on-site and remote support on all A/V systems, including conference room and digital signage across all offices.
- Provide on-site support for live events, ensuring seamless operation of A/V systems and addressing any technical challenges that arise.
- Manage and collaborate on A/V builds and deployment projects, ensuring successful completion within scope, budget, and timeline.
- Provide leadership for the A/V Service team, ensuring alignment with A/V organizational goals.
- Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and clients to define project requirements, deliverables, and resources.
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, risk management, and contingency plans.
- Manage the installation and testing of A/V systems, ensuring all specifications are met.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to A/V equipment, including break and fix support for critical failures.
- Communicate project status, risks, and updates to stakeholders regularly and address any concerns promptly.
- Ensure all projects adhere to industry standards and best practices for A/V technology and safety.
- Manage project documentation, including contracts, schedules, and technical specifications.
- Ensure that the end user’s workplace experience is positive and modern.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience executing on the service and maintenance of Audio-Visual integrated systems, digital signage, and equipment for conference rooms
- 5-7 years of experience in A/V project management, with a focus on buildouts, deployment, and live event management
- Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) certification is required
- Strong troubleshooting and break and fix skills for A/V systems
- Hands-on experience with A/V equipment, including audio, video, and control systems
- Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize based on business needs
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively manage teams and stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Able to work in fast-paced environments and handle pressure during live events
