Primary Duties
- Classification & Compensation Management: Maintain and audit the agency's position control and step/grade structures. Direct comprehensive classification reviews, job evaluations, and regional market salary surveys to ensure internal equity and market competitiveness.
- Retirement Administration: Partner with the state retirement system to ensure accurate administration of defined-benefit pensions and voluntary deferred compensation plans.
- Benefit Design & Innovation: Oversee implementation of comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and wellness programs, ensuring they remain competitive, cost-effective, and compliant.
- Compliance & Public Transparency: Serve as the custodian of total rewards data integrity. Ensure flawless compliance with the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), the Affordable Care Act (ACA), and state pay equity mandates.
- Team Leadership & System Optimization: Supervise, train, evaluate and mentor a professional team of compensation and benefits analysts. Oversee total rewards configuration within our enterprise HRIS platform (Vantage).
