Captivation Software is looking for a mid level software engineer who will acting as a DevOps Software Engineer. They shall be responsible for modifying, testing, deploying, and monitoring the TOOLMETRICS software suite to ensure the software is running according to specifications.

Requirements

Security Clearance:

• Must currently hold a Top Secret / SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph, therefore all candidates must be a U.S. citizen

Minimum Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus three (3) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus five (5) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
• Seven (7) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity..

Required Skills:

• Experience using the Linux CLI
• Experience developing scripts using Bash/Python
• Experience developing with Java in a Unix environment
• Experience with NoSQL technologies including Accumulo
• Experience with Cloud Technologies such as Hadoop Framework
• Experience using Apache NiFi canvas to process and distribute Big Data
• Experience with various open source software frameworks used for searching, monitoring, and analyzing big data such as ElasticStack (i.e. Elasticsearch, Beats, Kibana, Logstash)
• Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence)

Desired Skills:

• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker
• Experience with container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes

Benefits

• Annual Salary: $125,000 - $250,000 (Depends on the years of experience)
