The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for the overall maintenance and upkeep of Golden Age Gardens and will assist with maintenance tasks at Olivewood Apartments as needed. This role involves performing routine maintenance tasks, addressing repair needs, and ensuring the properties are in excellent condition. The ideal candidate will have experience in property maintenance, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to providing high-quality service to our residents. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including but not limited to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and painting. 
• Conduct regular inspections of the properties to identify and address maintenance issues promptly. 
• Respond to maintenance requests from residents and management in a timely and efficient manner. 
• Assist with the upkeep of common areas, grounds, and amenities to ensure they are clean and well-maintained. 
• Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs and maintenance as needed. 
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders and inventory of supplies and equipment. 
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols. 
• Assist with emergency maintenance tasks as required. 
• Provide maintenance support at Olivewood Apartments as directed by management. 

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training in maintenance or related field preferred. 
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools. 
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in property maintenance or a related role. 
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry systems. 
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. 
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
• Excellent communication and customer service skills. 
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic. 
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
