Pay Range: 31.84− 46.26 per hour (based on experience)
On-Call Pay: $4.00 per hour
Shift Differentials:

• Nights: +$4.50/hour

• Weekends: +$1.50/hour

• National Certification: +$1.50/hour

Sign-On Bonus: Available on a case-by-case basis
Relocation Assistance: Available on a case-by-case basis

Shift: Days (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM)
On-Call: Once per week and one weekend per month (subject to department needs)

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) - Open Heart (CVOR) to join our team at HCA Florida Osceola Hospital. As a CVOR RN, you will work closely with surgeons and the perioperative team to deliver exceptional care to patients undergoing cardiac surgery. You will be responsible for maintaining a sterile environment, assisting in procedures, and providing critical postoperative care. This is a key role in ensuring the safety and recovery of cardiac patients in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform duties as a scrub and circulating nurse for open-heart and other cardiovascular procedures.

• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure a sterile environment and adherence to protocols.

• Provide critical care to patients before, during, and after surgery.

• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures.

• Monitor patients' progress and make critical decisions to adjust care plans as necessary.

• Participate in on-call rotations as required by the department.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of Open Heart (CVOR) RN experience in an acute care environment required.

• Licensure: Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida or able to obtain licensure before the start date.

• Certifications:

  • BLS, ACLS, and PALS required (AHA Healthcare Provider).

  • CNOR preferred.

• Education: BSN preferred.
