Product Designer (Part-Time)

How you’ll be impactful:

This is a temporary, part-time role (approximately 20 hours per week) with an expected six-month duration, with potential for conversion to full-time.

We are looking for a Product Designer to help define the visual and interaction experiences for intelligent agents that provide always-on guidance, clarity, and relief. You will be the design lead for AI Companions, responsible for creating empathetic, high-agency experiences that reach millions of users across all our platforms. What you’ll be doing:

• Design high-agency, interactive AI experiences that provide real-time, empathetic guidance to users during critical moments.
• Create user-friendly, scalable interfaces capable of supporting millions of concurrent interactions across mobile and web surfaces.
• Build and maintain a unified design system that allows innovations in one AI Companion to be seamlessly replicated across our diverse brand ecosystem.
• Work as a tight-knit duo with our Product Manager and Principal Engineer to translate ambitious technical capabilities into intuitive, polished user experiences.
• Design high-trust, frictionless subscription and payment flows that feel integrated and respectful of the user’s journey.
• Move from low-fi prototypes to high-fidelity production designs quickly, failing fast where needed and doubling down on what resonates with users.

What you’ll need to be successful:

• You don’t need a 50-page PRD to start designing; you prefer early-stage startup environments where you can shape the product direction.
• You take immense pride in the products you ship and seek to solve meaningful problems for a global audience.
• You have a demonstrated track record of building successful features for mass-market consumer products.
• You are passionate about the pixels, possessing an exceptional eye for detail and a commitment to high-polish execution.
• You are comfortable working in a rapid development environment and delivering high-quality results on a part-time schedule.
• Advanced proficiency in Figma and modern prototyping tools to communicate complex logic and motion to engineering partners.

Pay Transparency:

The US hourly range for this part-time position is up to $76/hour. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
