Technical Product Manager, Fluence OS

This role is responsible for the technical product strategy and execution of the Fluence OS platform, Fluence’s real-time operating system for BESS control. This role is part of the Fluence OS Product Management team and reports to the Director of Software & Controls Product Management. This role will require cross-functional management as the primary point of interaction for the Fluence OS platform across Fluence.
•Identify, evaluate, and execute the technical and product strategy for priority and emerging opportunities for the Fluence OS platform, addressing the unique needs of Fluence customers.•Oversee the development and execution of the technical and platform strategy that utilizes Fluence’s suite of software and controls products •Responsible for communicating the strategy, roadmap, and value propositions of Fluence’s OS Platform capabilities to both external and internal stakeholders.•Work with cross-business Product Managers to ensure the OS platform capabilities and limitations are factored into their product roadmaps. •Work with the technical Agile development teams to ensure the technical solutions they develop meet the needs of Fluence’s customers.•Conducting competitor analysis and staying current with market trends and innovation in the OS space. •Develop an understanding of OS needs based on customer requirements, industry standards, and regional regulations and communicate those needs to the engineering team via requirements.•Gather, analyze, and act on customer feedback to inform product enhancements and future product development.•Conduct product presentations to customers at industry events.At Fluence we are dedicated to building a diverse, inclusive, and authentic workplace; if you are excited about this role but your past experience doesn't align perfectly with every qualification in the job description, we encourage you to apply!
