The Role

As the VP Global Talent Business Partners & Employee Relations, you'll partner with our executive leadership team across Procore to drive company-wide organizational effectiveness by leveraging our talent and enabling global scale. This is a tremendous opportunity to use your strategic business transformation, business acumen, influence, and international talent skills to align Procore to scale in service to one of the largest industries on earth—construction.

The position reports to the Chief People Officer and will be based remotely in the US. We're looking for someone to join us immediately.

What you'll do:

  • Lead a team of approximately 17 employees
  • Act as a trusted advisor and strategic Talent Partner to designated senior executives directly and through cross-functional teams and strategic objectives
  • Leverage a deep understanding of the business to translate business strategy into impactful talent, engagement, and organization strategies that move the company forward 
  • Actively engage with business leaders to ensure organizational effectiveness and optimal organizational design
  • Mature our HR Generalist function to support our global workforce  
  • Proactively partner and collaborate across the Global HR Talent Organization, share information, and provide thought leadership and a solution-oriented mindset to optimize the business value of the organization
  • Build strong partnerships with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and progress towards a set of shared goals
  • With a holistic understanding of the company objectives and a collaborative approach, recommends, designs, implements, and evaluates organizational structures globally to maximize productivity and scale
  • Partner with business leaders to build our global expansion strategy and drive implementation
  • Use data to measure success: learn, iterate, and improve; analyze trends and develop proactive actions to support business objectives
  • Assist with team change processes as the company meets the challenges of hyper-growth and the need to be on a global scale
  • Experience in establishing employee relations best practices

What we're looking for: 

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent with master's degree or relevant certification preferred
  • 10+ years of relevant business operations and Human Resources experience 
  • Has led a substantial global HR function at a high-growth tech industry for a medium-to-large size company (5,000+ employees, and $1B+ in revenue)
  • Inspirational and data-driven leader passionate about building amazing organizations
  • Strategic orientation and critical thinking skills with the ability to align and integrate talent and workforce management programs toward a holistic global approach to localization and business applicability
  • Demonstrated success in 
    • Driving process improvements in a global workplace
    • Inclusive leadership style with an emphasis on driving results 
    • Developing high-performing team members
  • Proven track record of influencing, leading, and facilitating large-scale strategic initiatives with multiple senior stakeholders
  • Experience in fostering team culture, removing obstacles, and empowering and developing a team
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and collaborative skills (including presentation skills) across levels, with an ability to persuade and influence, and the ability to build enthusiasm and commitment
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently in a fast-paced environment

Additional Information

Base Pay Range $246,400-$338,800. Eligible for Bonus Incentive Compensation. Eligible for Equity Compensation. Procore is committed to offering competitive, fair, and commensurate compensation, and has provided an estimated pay range for this role. Actual compensation will be based on a candidate’s job-related skills, experience, education or training, and location.
