What is needed for this job:

• 21+ years of age
• 3+ years in Facilities and Property Management
• Trade/certification experience or college degree in Facilities Management or Property Management
• Proficiency in maintaining and completing most minor repairs including plumbing, electrical or mechanical equipment and controls
• Possess current Certified Pool (CPO) or must obtain certification within six months of employment (if requested by supervisor)
• Possess excellent customer service and communication skills to work with staff, vendors, members, volunteers and board members
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Products; Outlook, Excel, Word and Preventative Maintenance Programs

 

The responsibilities we will trust you with:

• Support membership satisfaction and retention through a clean, well-maintained facility and repair of equipment
• Remain alert, proactive and responsive to day to day maintenance operations and issues across all facilities  
• Inspect facilities and grounds daily for risk management, repair and maintenance needs
• Support the management of all outside contractors conducting maintenance projects within the facility. i.e. Plumbing, Electrical, etc
• Collaborate with staff to lead the action and communication plan of those items that are in need of repair, replacement, upgrade or improvement
• Collaborate with Marketing and Membership Departments (Need to Know Team) in facility closures and timeline of repairs; demonstrate simple, informative, Y branded communication to members, staff and volunteers
