REPORTS TO: Director of Sales Enablement

FLSA STATUS: Exempt

JOB TYPE: Full-time


SUMMARY OF POSITION

The Client Engagement Specialist (CES) Team Lead utilizes our Meteor Education core values to build positive relationships with clients and their team that will translate to sales for our sales teams. Their responsibilities revolve around performing research and analysis to identify client needs, key stakeholders (decision makers), to develop sales leads and opportunities, and coordinate with team members. The CES Team Lead is responsible for these key areas:

  • Customer Communicator – Recruit, Attain and Retain
  • Qualification – Validation of top-of-funnel opportunities for CRM dispensing for sales acceleration
  • Outreach – Sales prospecting for filtering of project opportunities
  • Customer Service – create first impressions of Meteor Education for customers

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead and Support

  • Leads team of CES’s determining focus and direction on a weekly/monthly basis to assist in pipeline fill on a continuous basis
  • Align CES activities within the framework and strategy of the Sales Enablement Plan
  • Creation and build-out of CES role for optimal organizational support
  • Develop a training manual of best practices and clearly defined process and procedures for the CES role and team.
  • Work with cross collaborative teams to support the LEA program with in-depth understanding of CES role and hands-on experience for training and best practices.

Engagement

  • Support Managing Directors, Directors of Market Development and Learning Environment Specialists in developing customer relationships
  • Walk with the client through the customer journey aligning our solutions with their needs
  • Top-of-funnel prospects down the sales funnel for qualification
  • Coordinate continually with DMDs and LESs to establish cadence with customer
  • Work closely with Studio’s in executing go-to-market strategies
  • Deliver our Brand Promise as well as be an evangelist for Meteor Education
  • Follow-up communications/conversations (i.e., Executive Briefs, Trade Shows, Website leads, E-commerce and/or Insights leads)

Reporting

  • Establish and accomplish weekly and monthly KPI’s for CES role and team
  • Work closely with leadership and key stakeholders to create and maintain in-depth reporting to track growth and progress of CES team
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of CES data within the CRM system.
  • Other responsibilities as the role evolves


Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

Education and/or Experience

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or in similar or related field a plus
  • 2-5 years prior sales or lead development experience preferred
  • Demonstrated CRM knowledge
  • Demonstrated Leadership qualities

  • Maximizing use of the customer relationship management system ensuring data input and ongoing assessment of client status
  • Demonstrated ability to build rapport with diverse staff and clientele
