FP&A Senior Analyst - Grand Prairie, TX.
Richemont North America is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Financial Analyst to join our dynamic finance team. We are looking for an individual with strong financial acumen, modeling expertise, and exceptional problem-solving abilities. This role requires a naturally curious professional capable of developing and maintaining complex financial models to support our operating groups.
As a Financial Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the financial outlook of Richemont North America specifically focusing on our operational functions. You will collaborate closely with local and central functional teams to gain in-depth insights into each department's operations, fostering enhanced partnership, collaboration, and growth opportunities. Additionally, as a valued member of our FP&A team, you will contribute to cross-function initiatives, including internal controls review and communication.
This role requires strong interpersonal skills with significant interaction amongst key stakeholders across the organization, locally as well as centrally. Based in Dallas, TX and reporting into the Richemont FP&A Director, this role provides broad exposure to Richemont.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operational Modeling: Develop and maintain operational models to facilitate decision-making and optimize resource allocation.
- Monthly Reporting and Variance Analysis: Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports, identifying trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
- Close Activities: Manage month-end close processes, including accruals, reclasses, and reconciliations, ensuring precision and compliance with accounting standards.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with teams across the organization to provide financial insights and support their operational needs.
- Data Analysis: Analyze extensive datasets to extract valuable insights and support data-driven decision-making.
- Financial Presentations: Create and deliver clear and concise financial presentations to stakeholders at all levels.
- Financial Support: Key point of contact for Richemont functions regarding invoice coding, non-stock PO use, etc.
- Internal Controls: Key advocate for monitoring, performing and communicating internal controls.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education / Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or other relevant field
- 2-4 years of accounting / financial experience, preferably in a corporate environment
Technical / Personal Skills
- Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in financial analysis and reporting
- Demonstrated knowledge in accounting and finance principles
- Strong PC skills, including extensive knowledge of MS-Excel, Analysis and PowerPoint. Power BI and/or SAP Analytics Cloud helpful. Experience with SAP a plus
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Curious nature with ability to be proactive, problem-solve and adapt to change
- Ability to work both independently and as a team player; comfortable taking on big and small tasks alike
- Ability to travel for business-related purposes
