Overview
Apogee is actively seeking a Joint Exercise Planner to join our SMDC team.
Program: This position will provide A&AS to support the USASMDC G37 Training, Readiness and Exercise Division (G37 TREX) mission. This position will support the Exercise Branch, responsible for planning, synchronizing, executing, and assessing space operations support to USNORTHCOM, USSTRATCOM, USSPACECOM, and other CCMD major exercises, experiments, and war games. This full-time role is onsite at Peterson Space Force Base, Colorado Springs, CO. ****If selected you may be given an offer with Apogee Engineering or a teaming partner****Responsibilities
Joint Exercises Support.- The Joint Exercise Team will coordinate directly with USNORTHCOM, USSPACECOM, USSTRATCOM, GCCs, ASCCs, Corps, Division, 32nd and 263rd Army Air and Missile Defense Commands, 1st Space Brigade, and the 100th Ground-Based Mission Defense (GMD) to provide required space exercise support.
- Provide expertise in planning for major supported CCMD Tier I exercises such as Vigilant Shield, Apollo Griffin, Global Lightning, the 1st Space Brigade and 100th GMD major training events, and additional Joint exercises using the Joint Exercise Life Cycle (JELC) process.
- Execute the exercises outlined above. This includes controlling the planned storylines and injecting the developed MSEL. The contractor shall use the JMSEL tool to inject the planned events.
- Use the Joint Lessons Learned Information System (JLLIS) tool to collect Lessons Learned/After Action Review (AAR) comments from events that occurred during the exercise.
Qualifications
Minimum Experience:
Citizenship: Must be a US citizen Clearance: Must have and be able to maintain a TS with SCI eligibility.Education: Bachelor's degreeYears of Experience: 10 years of relevant experience in exercise planning.

- Must possess strong analytical, technology, and organizational skills
- Accuracy, timeliness, and attention to detail are required
- Ability to work independently and meet communicated schedules and deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Additional Experience: Exercise planning in the space domain preferred.

Pay Range
