Salary: $52,000/year
This position is vital to supporting the Prosecutor and the Executive Team by providing assistance, information, and administrative support. Key responsibilities include:
- Executive and Administrative Support: Assist in planning, organizing, and implementing training sessions and meetings. Responsible for managing and coordinating Prosecutor's calendar and scheduling.
- Correspondence and Records Management: Manage all correspondence and filing between the department and external agencies, including maintaining performance evaluation records and other personnel-related documents while upholding strict confidentiality.
- Public and Agency Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for public and agency inquiries, offering information and assistance as needed.
- Research and Project Support: Conduct research on specific projects and provide support for special assignments and office duties.
- Supplies Management: Order, distribute, and maintain inventory of office supplies.
Specialized Responsibilities:
- Sunshine Law Requests: Handle Missouri Sunshine Law requests for criminal records, including scanning, redacting, collecting payments, researching, burning discs, and duplicating case files.
- Coordination with the Attorney General's Office: Manage AG Exhibit Requests and AG SVP Requests.
- Training Coordination: Organize attorney training sessions and track annual training requirements.
- Executive Team Errands and Support: Assist with executive staff meetings by preparing materials, ordering and picking up meals, and providing back-up support for other assistants.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate’s Degree from an accredited college or university or three (3) years of executive level administrative experience.
- A combination of relevant education and experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Depending on the needs of the assigned department, certification as a Notary Clerk may be required.Must submit to/pass background and drug screen.
