Senior AR Accountant

We are looking for a full-time Senior AR Accountant to join our team at Evotec's US headquarters in Princeton, New Jersey. This position requires strong cash/collection knowledge and a positive, self-motivated, detailed-oriented and organized individual who can add value, efficiencies and problem-solve in a fast-paced accounting environment.

Location: You will be based in Princeton, NJ, working in the office 3 to 4 days a week. No travelling to different sites required.

Key Responsibilities:
•    Partner up with Business Development and create customer invoices monthly.
•    Apply customer’s payment accurately daily in ERP and SAP software.  
•    Partner with the Accounting Team to ensure all cash has been reconciled properly. 
•    Prepare monthly 15 bank reconciliations (USD, EURO) timely.   
•    Collaborate with intercompany billing customers (Head Office) and external customers to resolve potential billing issues.
•    Perform and research monthly customer account reconciliation to ensure payments are posted timely and accurately.
•    Responsible for all US cash applications for four entities.   
•    Ability to improve/maintain Working Capital Debtor Goals: Continuous improvement on Days Sales Outstanding (DSO).
•    Ensure monthly SOX procedures are performed timely at satisfactorily controls. 
•    Detailed-oriented with customer Accounts Receivable List.  
•    Responsible for preparing monthly cash forecast through Coupa Treasury. Plus reviewing contracts for terms of billing.
•    Evaluate and perform data analytics for customer payment history. 
•    Processing monthly matching with customer collaboration on debits and credits

Education and Experience Requirements:
•   Must have experience 7 years plus in a large, global company; preferred within pharmaceutical or life-science research organization.
•    Bachelor’s in Accounting, Business, Economics or related field.
•    Cash and collections.
•    Experience in Salesforce, Coupa Treasury, Cash Application, and AR Collection Software.
•    Experience with accounting SAP & other large ERP systems. 
•    Can work independently, hand on, thrives in a fast pace environment.
•    Strong communication skills – able to communicate to internal and external customers. 
•    Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Teams, and Excel.
