Senior Filmmaker

Description

As a Filmmaker, you are an integral member of the Film Team. The Filmmaker is responsible for the quality and oversight of ministry support videos such as videos or student’s ministry and social media. Assisting the Film Director in filming God Stories, and Sermon series bumpers. Completing weekly video deliverables, and having a strong background in Filming, Lighting, and quick turnaround editing.

• Create powerful visual stories that inspire and connect people to Jesus and each other, amplifying the impact of ministry through compelling filmmaking and editing.
• Support and elevate ministry initiatives by producing high-quality videos that communicate the vision and values of Connection Pointe, helping maximize engagement and spiritual growth among Jesus followers.
• Enhance Connection Pointe’s digital and global reach by leveraging creative storytelling, social media trends, and technical excellence to amplify Jesus online, globally, and throughout the next generation.

Key job duties

• Lead quality & oversight of our ministry support videos
• Become familiar with quick turnaround editing for social media & social media trends
• Be heavily involved with supporting the filming of stories & creative projects
• Lead the set up for ministry support videos
• Have a strong background in Editing, Filming, lighting and a very strong desire to grow in these things.
• Take feedback well, collaborate, and be willing to have an open hand & mind on projects
• Respond to emails and phone calls within 24 hours of being in the office
• Perform related duties as assigned
• Strive to improve personal and professional skills by looking for and participating in learning opportunities including practicing your creative craft.
• Attend a weekly service to stay in tune with God and his direction of Connection Pointe and to continue growing spiritually.
• Strive for spiritual maturity and be willing to set ego aside as a creative, for the Connection Pointe ministry and creative project collaboration.
