CA Pay Range (Hourly):
$28.27 - $52.50At Infinera, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package. Your actual base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. This role may be eligible for equity grants, discretionary bonuses, or commission payments. The amount of these incentives is based on the terms of the Company’s incentive plans, the Company’s financial performance, and/or individual employee job performance.

Overview:
- Position requires the operation of epi reactors, characterization equipment, many software interfaces, and completing corrective actions based on SPC monitoring processes
- Communicating events and responses within a relatively small and tightly coordinated group
- Position requires ability to helium leak check of epi reactors
- Position requires operation of multiple tools at once, position requires good multi-tasking
- Performing maintenance and trouble-shooting according to the specification
Description:
- Experience with compound semiconductor epitaxy equipment, processes, and characterization tools (including photoluminescence and x-ray diffraction) is highly desirable, but not necessary depending on the candidate's other qualifications
- Loading and unloading of wafers into semiconductor process and test equipment
- Additional experience working with software-based tools and manufacturing databases is also desirable
- Effort level and a good attitude are extremely important
- 4 years experience in semiconductor fabrication and/or epitaxy process facility is required
- all duties are conducted inside a clean room with appropriate gowning.
- Position hours are 6 AM to 6 PM, every other Tuesday, and every Wednesday, Thursday, and every Friday.
