Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead strategic planning, development, and management of complex integrations between marketing automation platforms (Marketo, Twilio, Conversica, Ringlead) and CRM systems (Salesforce), backend databases, and other enterprise applications.
- Design, develop, and implement advanced backend processes, automation scripts, and API integrations using languages such as JavaScript, Python, or other backend scripting languages.
- Serve as the strategic leader and subject matter expert for automation technology, identifying opportunities for automation, system integration improvements, and scalability.
- Architect and optimize complex behavior-driven and event-triggered marketing automation workflows to enhance customer engagement, lead nurturing, and conversions.
- Develop, implement, and oversee strategic data quality and governance practices, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, compliance, and optimization.
- Actively seek out, evaluate, and implement new technologies, plugins, and methodologies to drive innovation, efficiency, and advanced personalization in customer lifecycle nurturing.
- Conduct deep analytics and performance analysis to identify optimization opportunities and translate insights into actionable improvements to automation strategies and systems.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration with internal technology teams to enhance data integration, synchronization, and automation infrastructure.
- Develop advanced segmentation strategies leveraging dynamic content, predictive analytics, and customer data platforms (CDP).
- Act as the escalation point for complex troubleshooting issues, resolving system and data integration challenges with advanced technical solutions.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior technologists and team members, fostering best practices in automation, coding standards, and technical documentation.
- Own and refine marketing automation KPI tracking, analytics dashboards, and reporting strategies to measure and enhance effectiveness continuously.
- Champion continuous A/B testing and experimentation culture within the team to drive innovation, improved conversions, and superior customer experiences.

Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Proven ability to mentor jr staff
- Experience in Workfront, Jira, Wiki, Salesforce, Tableau
- Experience with marketing operations (automation, CRM, metrics reporting), ideally in a B2B, fintech, or fast-paced tech environment
- Familiarity with digital marketing platforms and concepts
- Knowledge of educational marketing
- Knowledge of integrated marketing communications
- Managed a large-scale marketing database and oversee augmentation and supported initiatives around improving database quality, database compliance, and governance
- Marketo Certified Expert
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.)
- Proficiency with CRM (Salesforce).
