JR Salesforce Administrator

Overview

GCG Connectivity and Power Solutions (CPS) is seeking a detail-oriented and driven Junior Salesforce Administrator to support and enhance the functionality of our Salesforce platform. This platform is a cornerstone of our customer relationship management and operational processes.

 

As a Junior Salesforce Administrator, you will take ownership of day-to-day system operations, including data imports, user management, and maintaining system accuracy. You will also play a critical role in implementing process improvements, creating reports and dashboards, and supporting business needs through system enhancements. This position offers a unique opportunity to build expertise with Salesforce tools while contributing to the growth and efficiency of a leading organization.

 

This role offers a remote work arrangement, however candidates must be available to work Eastern or Central time. 

What You’ll Do

• Manage daily Salesforce administration, including handling user access, account merges, and data imports
• Address and resolve help desk tickets and provide front-line user support
• Maintain data integrity through data cleaning, deduplication, and regular audits
• Assist in the creation and maintenance of reports, dashboards, and system configurations to meet business needs
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and implement solutions for small-scale system updates
• Support ongoing process improvements and system enhancements
• Document processes, configurations, and training materials to support internal teams

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field 
• 0–2 years in a Salesforce-related role preferred
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365, Teams, and database administration or marketing automation tools
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to balance multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment
• Comfort working with large databases and analyzing data
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and processes
• Experience with data-driven businesses and marketing automation tools
• Familiarity with Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Associate) is a plus

• Competitive annual salary between $75,000 - $85,000, based on applicable experience
