    Job Description

      The Senior Analyst, Social Media Compliance will support a Fortune 500 financial services marketing team. This is a unique opportunity to learn the nuances of running social media for a financial services brand, while applying compliance expertise to a fast-moving, high-demand channel that executes daily launches. In order to avoid impacts to performance and revenue, the social program requires constant compliance upkeep & an eye for ongoing optimization.

      Our Client’s Business Social Media team is at the forefront of social innovation and is focused on delivering engaging experiences to both customers and prospects via our Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn communities.

      Must Have: 

      • 3 + years of digital experience focused on compliance, ad law, data security, risk management, and/or social media.
      • Knowledge of social platforms, moderation, and backend access management.

      Responsibilities:

      • Own end-to-end backend access management, auditing our approved list and enforcing limits when media agencies request changes/additions.
      • Lead process for regularly updating our social media process flows with the Operational Risk team.
      • Embed compliance practices into social day-to-day by identifying risk areas.
      • Investigate moderation process gaps & troubleshoot/automate solutions between our servicing team and moderation vendor [i.e. to improve Direct Message comms with customers].
      • Manage vendor relationships with Global Supply Management, ensuring all data-sharing procedures & software across campaigns has been properly vetted.
      • Partner with the Legal team to periodically refresh the social media guidelines.
      • Support the social team and marketers in obtaining Legal and Compliance approvals for net-new initiatives, documenting examples for precedent and mapping out new processes with risk.
      • Provide additional coverage in Quality Assurance process both pre- and post-launch to avoid impacts to performance or revenue.
      • Retrain internal/external partners on best practices and expectations, act as custodian for all relevant social documentation.
      • Brainstorm ways to streamline social requirements in easy-to-distribute resources for partners.
      • Investigate technical issues with social platform partners and when applicable, craft concise issue management updates for leadership.
      • Track & implement emerging compliance requirements for the social team’s existing Artificial Intelligence tool, working with internal AI team on vetting & documentation.
      • Keep the social team up to speed on industry news with regards to ad law, data security, and social platform legislation.

      Qualifications

      • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
      • Impeccable grammar / copyediting / proofreading skills; Quality Assurance experience is a plus.
      • Ability to absorb a vast range of regulatory knowledge and apply strategic thinking to process enhancements.
      • Organized approach to complex approval requirements & ever-evolving process flows
      • Rigorously organized; committed to taking ample time to do things the right way.

      Additional Information

      • Location: Hybrid in Lower Manhattan, 3 days a week or Remote – must be able to work Eastern Time Zone
      • Duration: 3 Months contract

      The starting pay range for this role is $40/HR- $50/HR. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent on several factors including but not limited to relevant experience, skills, certifications, training, and location. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range and determining factors for compensation are considered for each individual circumstance.
