Premium Merchant Funding is a dynamic and growing finance company seeking a motivated Accounting Associate to join our team. This role is an excellent entry-level opportunity for individuals eager to build a career in the finance industry.

Salary: $45K - $55K
Location: Long Island/Five Towns

Responsibilities:

• Data Entry: Perform accurate data entry to support various departments, ensuring timely completion.
• Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile external bank accounts to align with internal records.
• Accounts Payable (AP): Process invoices, verify transactions, and ensure timely vendor payments.
• Accounts Receivable (AR): Manage invoicing, track payments, and follow up on outstanding balances.
• Internal Reconciliation: Conduct monthly account reconciliations to maintain accuracy.
• Payout Sheets: Prepare and review payout sheets for accuracy and timely processing.
• ACH Debits: Oversee ACH debit transactions, ensuring secure and precise payments.

Qualifications:

• Background in accounting or bookkeeping is a plus.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel to the NYC office as needed.
• Willingness to work until 7 pm and late nights on occasion.
